26.2. Cooling system
Engine overheat
• Insufficient level of liquid in the cooling system.
• The thermostat does not work.
• Internal cavities of a radiator are clogged.
• The fan of a radiator or the thermoviscous coupling are faulty.
• The sensor of the index of temperature or the index of temperature incorrectly show temperature.
• Existence of an air stopper with the cooling system.
• The cover of a broad tank is damaged.
The engine does not get warm
• The thermostat is faulty.
• The sensor of the index of temperature or the index of temperature incorrectly show temperature.
• The thermoviscous coupling is faulty.
External leak of cooling liquid
• Hoses of the cooling system or collars of fastening of hoses are damaged.
• The radiator or a radiator of a heater are untight.
• The cover of a broad tank is faulty.
• The sealing ring of the water pump proceeds.
• The laying established between the water pump and the block of cylinders is untight.
• Boiling of liquid at an engine overheat.
• The radiator stopper is untight.
Internal leak of cooling liquid
• Laying of a head of the block of cylinders is punched.
• Cracks on a head of the block of cylinders or on the block of cylinders.
Corrosion of elements of the cooling system
• Periodic replacement of cooling liquid or washing of the cooling system was not made.
• Use of water in the cooling system or the wrong ratio of a concentrate of antifreeze and the distilled water at preparation of cooling liquid.
