14:11. Starter
On all models the starter fastens bolts to a coupling case on the left back part of the engine. Access to a starter is possible from under the car. On models with diesel engines about heat exchange by a nickname of engine oil process of removal of a starter much more difficult and demands an engine raising.
Removal
ALL MODELS WITH PETROL ENGINES AND MODELS WITH DIESEL ENGINES WITHOUT HEAT EXCHANGER OF ENGINE OIL
Extraction of a starter from a nest in a coupling case
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. |
2. Remove an engine mudguard from a forward part of a motor compartment. |
3. Remove the air filter. Unscrew and remove an arm of support of an inlet collector. |
4. In the lower part of the oil pallet unscrew an arm of fastening of the directing hose and move a hose aside. |
5. From a back part of the traction relay unscrew nuts and screws and disconnect electric wires from the traction relay. |
6. Turn a steering wheel against the stop to the right and check that the left pendular lever is at the maximum distance from a starter. On diesel models with a turbo-supercharging disconnect the central steering draft from the left pendular lever. |
7. Unscrew nuts and take the top and lower bolts of fastening of a starter. |
8. Take a starter from a nest of a case of coupling and get it from a motor compartment (see the drawing). |

2. Remove a mudguard from the lower part of a motor compartment. |
3. Remove the air filter. Unscrew and remove an arm of support of an inlet collector. |
4. Hook on slings of the load-lifting mechanism for lifting eyes of the engine. Raise the load-lifting mechanism so that the weight of the engine was perceived by the load-lifting mechanism. From two parties of the engine unscrew the lower bolts of fastening of support of the engine. |
5. Raise the engine to provide space for removal of a starter. |
6. Unscrew nuts and take bolts of the top and lower fastening of a starter. |
7. Take a starter from a nest of a case of coupling and get it from a motor compartment. |
