15.6. Ignition distributor


 For removal of a cover of the distributor of ignition on models with system of ignition of TFZ turn screws of fastening of a cover on a quarter of a turn.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The distributor of ignition is installed in vertical position sideways of the block of cylinders.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point as follows. Unscrew screws, lift and move an ignition distributor cover aside, without disconnecting from it high-voltage wires. Define the location of an adjusting tag on the ignition distributor case which represents small dredging on the top edge of the case of the distributor of ignition.
4. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft turn a bent shaft of the engine in the direction of working rotation before combination of an electrode of a rotor of the distributor with a tag on the distributor case.
5. Continue to rotate a bent shaft of the engine until the tag of the top dead point on a quencher of tortional fluctuations is combined with the index on a cover of a driving chain.
Prevention

Make combination of an adjusting tag with the index very precisely.
6. Check that the rotor of the distributor was precisely combined with a tag on the distributor case. If the rotor of the distributor is turned on 180 ° from a tag on the distributor case, so the piston of the first cylinder is in the top dead point on an exhaust step. In this case turn a bent shaft of the engine on one whole revolution and combine an adjusting tag on a quencher of tortional fluctuations with the index on a cover of a driving chain.
7. The ignition distributor can be removed and installed without violation of an angle of installation of the moment of ignition now if at the same time not to turn a bent shaft of the engine.
8. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and remove the ignition distributor case from the block of cylinders.
9. Check a condition of a sealing ring and, if necessary, replace it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If after removal of the distributor of ignition the bent shaft of the engine was turned, perform the following operations.
2. Unscrew a spark plug from the first cylinder. Close a thumb an opening for a spark plug and turn a bent shaft of the engine until the finger does not feel pressure in the cylinder. Continue to rotate a bent shaft of the engine until the tag of the top dead point on a quencher of tortional fluctuations is combined with the index on the case of a driving chain.
3. Insert the ignition distributor into the block of cylinders and combine a distributor shaft with the drive so that the rotor of the distributor was combined with a tag on the ignition distributor case. The case of the distributor of ignition has to be installed accurately on a fixing flange of the block of cylinders, and the opening in a fixing flange for a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition has to be established in the center of a groove in the distributor case basis. If necessary turn the distributor case.
4. Fix the distributor case by a bolt, having tightened it the required moment.
5. Establish a cover of the distributor of ignition and fix it by screws.

10. Using paint, note position of the case of the distributor of rather fixing flange.
11. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and take the ignition distributor case from the block of cylinders (see rice. An arrangement of a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition on models with system of ignition of TFZ).
12. Check a condition of a sealing ring and, if necessary, replace it.
