System of ignition of EZL

The system of ignition of EZL works at the basis of the signal received from the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft. The system of ignition establishes the required ignition advancing corner on the basis of information on engine turns, the provision of a bent shaft and depression in an inlet collector received from the sensors installed on the engine.

Distinctive feature of system of ignition of EZL is that it is impossible to adjust the initial moment of an advancing of ignition turn of the case of the distributor concerning a shaft.

However the initial corner of an advancing of ignition can be changed depending on type of the used fuel. For this purpose it is necessary to change the provision of the switching cap in a nest of fine tuning, located in a motor compartment near the ECU block. In the switching cap resistors of various resistance are installed. The cap can be established in several provisions according to tags on a cap. Depending on what resistor of a cap is connected to contacts of a nest at present, the ECU block of system of ignition increases or reduces an initial corner of an advancing of ignition with a step in 3 °.

The corner of an advancing of ignition can also be measured, using a stroboscope.

System of ignition of TFZ

The system of ignition of TFZ is run by the sensor of impulses installed in the ignition distributor case. In this case the initial corner of an advancing of ignition can be adjusted by turn of the case of the distributor concerning a shaft.

Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition

Prevention

Check of a corner of an advancing of ignition needs to be made on the engine which is warmed up up to the normal working temperature. It is desirable to finish check of a corner of an advancing of ignition before temperature of cooling liquid exceeds 95 °C or before the radiator fan turns on.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect a stroboscope according to its maintenance instruction. At the same time start of a stroboscope has to be made from a high-voltage wire of the 1st cylinder.
2. Start the engine on idling turns. Direct stroboscope light to the index on a cover of a driving chain. The tag on a pulley of a bent shaft seems motionless and has to be combined with the index. If the tag moves to one or other party, so turns of idling are unstable. When checking a corner of an advancing of ignition all electric consumers have to be switched off and the fan of a radiator should not work. During the operation of the engine idling for some time even at the engine which is warmed up up to the normal working temperature especially at high temperature of external air turns of idling can be unstable.
3. Determine an ignition advancing corner by the tag on a pulley of a bent shaft combined with the index (see the drawing).
4. If the corner of an advancing of ignition differs more than on 3 ° from demanded, perhaps, the cap in a nest of fine tuning is incorrectly established. Check the provision of a cap in a nest of fine tuning and, if necessary, establish it according to type of the applied fuel.

Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

Prevention

Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition is possible only on models with system of ignition of TSZ.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. You make adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition on the switched-off engine not to receive blow by electric current. Weaken a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition.
Prevention

Apply a combination tag on the case of the distributor of ignition and a head of the block of cylinders in order that the distributor of ignition could be installed in a starting position in attempt to adjust ignition, the ended failure.
2. For increase in a corner of an advancing of ignition turn the distributor case clockwise, and for reduction counterclockwise. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition and, using a stroboscope, check an initial corner of an advancing of ignition. Repeat this operation until the required initial corner of an advancing of ignition is established. tighten a bolt of fastening of the distributor of ignition the required moment and disconnect a stroboscope.
