2.4.5. Check and replacement of an auxiliary driving belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At the switched-off engine examine a condition of an auxiliary driving belt on all its length. Check pulleys of an auxiliary belt for existence of notches, cracks, deformation and corrosion.

Installation of an auxiliary driving belt on a single pulley and a pulley of a bent shaft

 1 – nut of fastening of the lever of the mechanism of a tension;
2 – bolt of fastening of the lever of the mechanism of a tension;
3 – tension mechanism lever;
4 – tension mechanism lever spring

5 – pulley of the pump of the amplifier of steering;
6 – pulley of the water pump

The sequence of installation of an auxiliary driving belt on pulleys:
1 – tension mechanism pulley;
2 – pulley of a bent shaft;
3 – pulley of the compressor of the air conditioning system;
4 – generator pulley;
5 – pulley of the pump of the amplifier of steering;
6 – single pulley;
7 – pulley of the water pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a krylchatka of the fan and a casing.
2. Unscrew the nut fixing the tension mechanism lever (see rice. Elements of the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt).
3. Insert the lever (diameter of 12 mm and 300 mm long) into an opening in the lever of the mechanism of a tension and press the lever counterclockwise so that it was possible to move a lever bolt to an inlet collector.
4. Turn the lever clockwise and remove a tension mechanism spring.
5. Move a single pulley back and take off an auxiliary driving belt from pulleys.
6. Establish a new auxiliary driving belt as follows.
7. Slightly lift a single pulley and hold it in this situation during the following actions.
8. Squeeze an auxiliary driving belt a loop and advance it between pulleys of the water pump and a bent shaft (see rice. Movement of an auxiliary driving belt between pulleys of the water pump and a bent shaft).
9. The left hand press an auxiliary driving belt into a flute of a pulley of the water pump and turn a pulley of the water pump counterclockwise and put on a driving belt on a single pulley (see rice. Installation of an auxiliary driving belt in a pulley flute).
10. Establish an auxiliary driving belt on a pulley of a bent shaft and further in the sequence shown in the drawings Arrangement of an Auxiliary Driving Belt on models without air conditioning system, the Arrangement of an auxiliary driving belt on models with the air conditioning system, but without single pulley, the Arrangement of an auxiliary driving belt on models with the air conditioning system and a single pulley.
11. Release a single pulley.
12. Press the lever of the mechanism of a tension and insert a bolt of fastening of the lever.
13. Establish a tension mechanism spring.
14. Fix the tension mechanism lever, having screwed a nut on a bolt and having tightened it the required moment.
15. Establish a krylchatka of the fan and a casing.
