1.5.8.2. Models with system of injection of KE-GETRONIC fuel
Adjustment has to be made on the engine which is warmed up up to the normal working temperature. Adjustment has to be finished before temperature of the engine reaches 100 °C. On later models turns of idling cope with the help of electronics, and adjustment without the special test equipment is impossible.
When carrying out adjustment the air filter has to be in the place with the connected vacuum hoses and a hose of ventilation of a case.

Adjustment of contents WITH in exhaust gases
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Install the analyzer of exhaust gases in an exhaust pipe. |
| 2. Start the engine in the mode of turns of idling. On cars with the automatic transmission install the lever of the choice of transfers to position of PARK. Switch off everything electric consumers. |
| 3. The screw of adjustment of turns of idling is available through dredging from a reverse side of a casing of the air filter (see rice. Access to the screw of adjustment of turns of idling). |
| 4. Rotating the adjusting screw, establish the required idling turns. |
| 5. Switch off the engine. |
| 6. For adjustment of contents WITH in exhaust gases remove a casing of the air filter and, using the lever, remove a cap then establish assembly of the air filter into place. |
| 7. Start the engine and for 10 seconds increase engine turns to 2000 rpm. Then establish idling turns. |
| 8. Check contents WITH in exhaust gases. Adjustment of contents WITH is made by rotation of the adjusting screw of quality of mix (see rice. Adjustment of contents WITH in exhaust gases). |
| 9. In conclusion remove all instrumentations and install a new cap on the screw of adjustment of quality of fuel mix. |
