| 1. Open a cowl and establish it in vertical position. Establish a thin steel sheet on a partition of a motor compartment for protection of heat insulation of a partition and tubes of the brake system against damages. |
| 2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
| 3. On models with an additional heater at removal of the transmission do not damage the hose of supply of cooling liquid located in a back part of a motor compartment. Unscrew a pipe for the probe of measurement of level of oil in the transmission from a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 4. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove an engine mudguard. |
| 5. Merge oil from the transmission. |
| 6. Insert small wooden whetstone between the oil pallet and a cross-piece under the car bottom. |
| 7. Remove the exhaust system. |
| 8. In the presence remove thermal insulation of the exhaust system from the car bottom for access to the intermediate bearing of the driveshaft. |
| 9. Unscrew arms of fastening of the exhaust system from the car bottom (under the driveshaft). Unscrew two bolts and remove an arm of fastening of a reception exhaust pipe from the transmission (see rice. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of an arm of support of a reception exhaust pipe). In the presence remove electric wires from an arm on the transmission. |
| 10. Disconnect the driveshaft from an output flange of the transmission. |
| 11. Weaken a nut of fastening of the intermediate bearing of the driveshaft, then weaken, but do not unscrew a nut of fastening of the case of the intermediate bearing and move the driveshaft against the stop back. |
| 12. Support by a jack through wooden whetstone the transmission. |
| 13. Unscrew a back support of the engine / transmission from the bottom of the car and the transmission and take a support from under the car (see rice. Removal of a back support of the engine / transmission). |
| 14. Unscrew a bolt of fastening and take a speedometer drive cable from the transmission (see rice. Removal of a cable of the drive of a speedometer from the transmission). |
15. Unscrew the working cylinder of coupling from the transmission and, without disconnecting from it a hydraulic tube, move it from the transmission back. Remove plastic laying.
Prevention
On some models removal of the working cylinder of coupling together with a hydraulic tube does not provide sufficient space for removal of the transmission. In this case before removal of the working cylinder of coupling it is necessary to disconnect from it a hydraulic hose and to merge liquid from hydraulic system of coupling.

| 16. Working under the car, remove brackets of fastening and disconnect drafts of gear shifting from levers of the choice of transfers. |
| 17. Remove a starter. |
| 18. Check that the transmission reliably is kept by a jack, then lower it so that the engine rested against the bar inserted between the oil pallet and a cross-piece. When lowering the transmission be careful not to damage the brake tubes or other elements located on a partition of a motor compartment. |
| 19. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the transmission to the engine, leaving from each party of the transmission on one bolt. Access to the top bolts of fastening of the transmission is very limited. For access to these bolts it is necessary to use face wrenches with extenders and cardan connectors. On some models the top bolt of fastening of the transmission to the engine is inaccessible from below. Access to the top bolt is possible on the right side of a motor compartment after performance of the following actions: – unscrew the thermofilters located about the amplifier of steering for access to nuts of fastening of a final collector;
– unscrew nuts and remove back section of a final collector from a head of the block of cylinders. Remove laying.

| 20. Note an arrangement of the tire of grounding and the arms fastening bolts of fastening of the transmission to the engine. |
| 21. After unscrewing of the top bolts of fastening of the transmission to the engine lift the transmission in a starting position. |
| 22. Unscrew the remained two bolts of fastening of the transmission to the engine, then move the transmission from the engine so that to take an entrance shaft of the transmission from a clutch plate. When moving the transmission the entrance shaft of the transmission should not hang on coupling. When performing this work be careful not to damage the working cylinder of coupling with a hydraulic tube. |
| 23. After an exit of an entrance shaft of the transmission from coupling, being careful, lower the transmission and take it from under the car. |
