Removal

Forward cable

Prevention

At installation of a forward cable of the parking brake it is necessary to use a new bolt of fastening of a cable to a compensation plate.

13 – forward cable of the parking brake

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a seat of the driver and the central console.
2. Disconnect a cable from a pedal of the parking brake.
3. Disconnect a returnable spring and remove it from a compensation plate (see rice. Arrangement of details of the compensation mechanism of the parking brake).
4. Unscrew the bolt fixing a back part of a forward cable to the leveling plate. At installation it is necessary to use a new bolt.
5. Note an arrangement of a forward cable of the parking brake, take it from brackets of fastening and clamps and remove it.

Back cable

Prevention

At installation of a back cable it is necessary to use a new bolt of fastening of a cable to the nave fastener.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove brake shoes of the parking brake, the corresponding wheel and disconnect the end of a cable from the sliding mechanism.
2. Unscrew the bolt fixing a cable cover to a nave and remove a cable from a back part of a brake board (see rice. An arrangement of a bolt of fastening of a back part of the parking brake to the fastener of a back nave).
3. Disconnect a returnable spring and remove it from a bracket of fastening of compensation of this plate.
4. Remove a bracket, the fixing forward part of a cover of a cable of the parking brake to an arm on the body bottom. Disconnect a cable from a compensation plate and take it from under the car (see rice. Arrangement of a bracket of fastening of a cover of a back cable of the parking brake).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Use a new bolt for fastening of a back part of a cable to the leveling plate. Adjust operation of the parking brake.

Back cable

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. For fastening of a cable to the fastener of a nave use a new bolt. Adjust the parking brake.
