Models with the replaced filtering element

Prevention

When replacing of the filtering element it is necessary to use new sealing rings for a coupling bolt and a roof of a casing of the air filter.

Sealing rings of round section
 Establish new sealing rings of round section on a cover of a casing of an oil filter (1) and a coupling bolt (2).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew a coupling bolt and take it together with a cover of a casing of an oil filter. Remove sealing rings from a cover and a coupling bolt (see rice. 2. Take the filtering element from a casing of an oil filter (see rice. Extraction of the filtering element from a casing of an oil filter on 4-cylinder engines).
3. Weaken a drain stopper approximately on a half of a turn. Place a container for discharge of oil under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If it is necessary, press a stopper when you unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely. Remove ring consolidation from a masloslivny stopper.
4. When oil completely flows down, wipe everything around a drain opening a rag and reliably screw up a stopper into place.
5. Install the car on a plain horizontal surface.
6. Wipe a casing of an oil filter and a cover and establish the new filtering element in a casing. Establish new sealing rings on a cover and a coupling bolt (see rice. Sealing rings of round section).
7. Establish a cover on a casing of an oil filter and fix it by a bolt, having tightened it the required moment.
8. Take the probe for measurement of level of oil and remove a stopper from a maslozalivny mouth.
9. Fill in oil in the engine, using the corresponding grade of oil. Fill in a half of necessary amount of oil and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Then continue to pour oil in the small portions until the level of oil reaches the minimum level on the probe. At addition about 1 more liter the level of oil will rise to maximum on the probe. Close a cover of a jellied mouth.
10. Start the engine and let's it work several minutes. Check it regarding leak of oil around the filter and a drain stopper on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn several seconds as oil has to fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine.
11. Switch off the engine and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Check the level of oil and add if it is necessary.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use the special tool to weaken an oil filter, then unscrew it a hand (see rice. An arrangement of an oil filter on 4-cylinder engines with the replaced oil filter).
2. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt around the place of fastening of the filter. Check whether there was no rubber consolidation on the block of cylinders. If it remained, then remove it.
3. Grease with a thin layer of engine oil rubber consolidation of a new oil filter and screw up the filter a hand, without using any tools.
4. Weaken a drain stopper approximately on a half of a turn. Place a container for discharge of oil under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely.
