| 1. Unscrew a cover from a casing of an oil filter. |
| 2. Wait until oil flows down from a casing of an oil filter, then uncover together with the filtering element (see rice. Removal of a cover with the filtering element from a casing of an oil filter on the 6-cylinder DOHC engine). |
| 3. Take the filtering element from a cover and remove a sealing ring of round section. |
| 4. Weaken a drain stopper approximately on a half of a turn. Place a container for discharge of oil under a drain stopper and unscrew a stopper completely. If it is necessary, press a stopper when you unscrew that oil did not proceed prematurely. Remove ring consolidation from a masloslivny stopper. |
| 5. When oil completely flows down, wipe everything around a drain opening a rag and reliably screw up a stopper into place. |
| 6. Install the car on a plain horizontal surface. |
| 7. Wipe all traces of oil and dirt from a cover of an oil filter and establish a new sealing ring of round section on a cover (see rice. Installation of a new sealing ring on a cover of an oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine). |
| 8. Establish the new filtering element in a cover of a casing of an oil filter (see rice. Installation of the new filtering element in a cover of a casing of an oil filter of the 6-cylinder DOHC engine). |
| 9. Establish a cover with the filtering element on a casing of an oil filter and reliably tighten a cover. |
| 10. Take the probe for measurement of level of oil and remove a stopper from a maslozalivny mouth. |
| 11. Fill in oil in the engine, using the corresponding grade of oil. Fill in a half of necessary amount of oil and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Then continue to pour oil in the small portions until the level of oil reaches the minimum level on the probe. At addition about 1 more liter the level of oil will rise to maximum on the probe. Close a cover of a jellied mouth. |
| 12. Start the engine and let's it work several minutes. Check it regarding leak of oil around the filter and a drain stopper on the pallet. Keep in mind that the control bulb of pressure of oil can burn several seconds as oil has to fill all channels and oil capacities in the engine. |
| 13. Switch off the engine and wait several minutes that oil flew down in the pallet. Check the level of oil and add if it is necessary. |
