Radio receiver

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the lighter

Special tools which need to be used for removal of the Mercedes-Benz block on later models

2. On early models (till September, 1990) release the lower clamps and take the radio receiver from a nest and disconnect from it electric sockets and the antenna.
3. On later models (since September, 1990) removal of the radio receiver requires use of special tools (see rice. Special tools which need to be used for removal of the Mercedes-Benz block on later models). Insert special tools from two parties of the radio receiver, release the lower clamps and take the radio receiver from a nest, then disconnect from it electric sockets and the antenna.
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

Becker block

Use of steel cores for removal of the Becker block

PERFORMANCE ORDER
2. Being careful, remove the decorative panel from the radio receiver.
3. From two parties of the radio receiver insert steel cores with a diameter of 1 mm into openings, release clamps and take the radio receiver from a nest (see rice. Use of steel cores for removal of the Becker block). Disconnect electric sockets and the antenna from the radio receiver.
4. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
