10:12. Inlet collector

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Take off pressure in fuel system.
3. Remove an accelerator cable from the directing lever of a butterfly valve. On models with the automatic transmission disconnect a cable of management of pressure from draft of a throttle. On models with a control system of the speed of the movement of the car remove draft of an accelerator from the block of the executive mechanism of a throttle.
4. Remove a plait of wires and unscrew an arm of a plait of wires from an inlet collector.
5. Unscrew a tube for the probe of measurement of level of engine oil.
6. Remove the air filter.
7. On all models, except models with 6-cylinder DOHC engines remove the valve of cold start from an inlet collector.
8. Remove the fuel highway and the sensor of a stream of air.
9. Remove the throttle case.
10. On models with 6-cylinder SOHC engines with a control system of the speed of the movement of the car unscrew from an inlet collector the executive mechanism of a throttle together with an arm.
11. On models with 4-cylinder engines mark and disconnect hoses from the air stream distributor on idling turns.
12. Unscrew a connecting nut and disconnect a vacuum hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from a collector.
13. Mark and disconnect the sockets and vacuum hoses which remained электричес Kia from an inlet collector.
14. Unscrew and remove arms of support of an inlet collector. Check that anything else does not interfere with removal of an inlet collector.
15. Unscrew nuts and bolts and remove an inlet collector from a head of the block of cylinders. Remove laying of an inlet collector.
16. If necessary unscrew bolts and divide the top and lower parts of an inlet collector. At assembly of the top and lower parts of an inlet collector it is necessary to use new laying.
17. Being careful and using a plastic or wooden scraper, clear the interfaced surfaces of a head of the block of cylinders and an inlet collector.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
2. Check that the interfaced surfaces of an inlet collector and a head of the block of cylinders are cleared of traces of old laying.
3. Adjust an accelerator cable.
4. On models with the automatic transmission adjust work of a cable of management of pressure.
5. Check and, if necessary, adjust idling turns.
