10:14. Removal of pressure in fuel system

Prevention

Gasoline extremely fire - is also explosive therefore it is necessary to show care during the work on any part of fuel system.

Works on fuel system need to be performed in well aired room for what it is possible to open all windows and doors for draft creation.

During the work on fuel system do not use naked flame, electric welding and tools during the work with which sparks can be formed. Check that in close proximity to a workplace there is a charged fire extinguisher.

For protection of eyes against hit of fuel in them use points. At hit of fuel on skin wash out this place a plentiful amount of water.

Capacity in which there was a fuel contains vapors of fuel and is potentially explosive.

During the work with fuel system observe purity as the dirt which got to canals of fuel system can block them that will break normal operation of the engine.

The fuel system consists of the fuel pump, the accumulator of pressure, the fuel filter, fuel nozzles, the regulator of pressure, the distributor of fuel and fuel-supply lines.

During the operation of the engine or after inclusion of ignition fuel is in fuel system under constant pressure. During the work on fuel system it is necessary to take off previously pressure in system. It is desirable to perform work on removal of pressure in fuel system on the cold engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take the relay of the fuel pump, then start the engine in the idling mode to its stop. Because the engine consumes fuel, and the fuel pump does not pump up fuel in fuel system, pressure in fuel system considerably decreases.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. Uncover a fuel-filling mouth to level pressure in the fuel tank with atmospheric. Establish a cover of a fuel-filling mouth into place.
3. Install a container under any connection of a fuel-supply line and prepare rags which will absorb the spread fuel.
4. Being careful, slowly weaken connection of a fuel-supply line. Close connection of a fuel-supply line pure rags in order that fuel was not sprayed in the parties. After removal of pressure in fuel system completely unscrew a fuel-supply line and close its ends traffic jams.
