10:10. Fuel tank
Prevention
Gasoline extremely fire - is also explosive therefore it is necessary to show care during the work on any part of fuel system.
Works on fuel system need to be performed in well aired room for what it is possible to open all windows and doors for draft creation.
During the work on fuel system do not use naked flame, electric welding and tools during the work with which sparks can be formed. Check that in close proximity to a workplace there is a charged fire extinguisher.
For protection of eyes against hit of fuel in them use points. At hit of fuel on skin wash out this place a plentiful amount of water.
Capacity in which there was a fuel contains vapors of fuel and is potentially explosive.
During the work with fuel system observe purity as the dirt which got to canals of fuel system can block them that will break normal operation of the engine.
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Through a fuel-filling mouth pump out fuel from the fuel tank. |
2. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports.
Prevention
It is undesirable to remove the fuel tank on the car installed over a viewing hole as in a viewing hole fuel vapors accumulate that can cause damage to health.

3. Take off pressure in fuel system. |
4. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
5. Working under the car, disconnect the giving and returnable fuel hoses and a hose of ventilation from the fuel tank. Not to mix hoses at installation, mark them. Close the ends of fuel-supply lines and an opening in the fuel tank traffic jams. |

PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Take a back part of the exhaust system from rubber fastenings and support her by boards not to deform connection of the exhaust system. |
2. Disconnect the electric socket from the fuel level sensor. |
3. Using a jack, through wooden whetstone support the fuel tank from below. |
4. Unscrew nuts and remove a basic beam from a back part of the fuel tank. Unscrew nuts, the fixing arms on the forward party of the fuel tank, and remove washers and plugs (see rice. Fuel tank of the Station wagon models). |
5. Slowly lower a jack with the fuel tank and disconnect a hose of ventilation of a jellied mouth from a tank. Disconnect a fuel-filling mouth from the panel of a body and remove a sealing ring and plugs. |
6. Take the fuel tank from under the car and remove sealing strips. |

ALL MODELS
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Visually check a condition of the fuel tank outside. Unscrew and take the mesh filter from the fuel tank. Using pure fuel, wash away a raid from internal walls of the fuel tank. Install the mesh filter with a new sealing ring. |
2. If in the fuel tank there is a deposit or water, remove the fuel level sensor and wash out the fuel tank a large amount of pure fuel. In the presence on the fuel tank of mechanical damages restore the fuel tank in a specialized workshop or replace it.
Prevention
Do not restore the fuel tank independently with application of welding or the soldering as in a tank there are fuel vapors which are explosive.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments. |
2. Tighten all bolts and nuts the required moment. |
3. For fastening of the fuel tank on the Station wagon models use only new самоконтрящиеся nuts. |
4. Check correctness of installation of sealing strips. |
5. Check correctness and reliability of connection of the electric socket of the fuel level sensor. |
6. Make a trial trip, then check all established elements for lack of leak of fuel. |
