12:16. System of protection of the engine against an overload

Prevention

The system of protection of the engine against an overload is installed only on the engine with a turbo-supercharging.

The system of protection of the engine against an overload is applied to restriction of engine capacity at failure of the reducing valve of a turbocharger. Pressure sensor installed measures pressure in an inlet collector and switches with a pressure exceeding the required value. The sensor of pressure switches off the valve which blocks vacuum in knot of the diaphragm established on the fuel pump. At the same time the fuel pump reduces supply of fuel up to the size, as well as in the engine without turbo-supercharging.

In system of protection of the engine against overloads only replacement of the sensor of pressure and the vacuum electromagnetic valve is possible.

PRESSURE SENSOR

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The sensor of pressure is located from the accumulative camera of an inlet collector near a washer reservoir of glasses.
2. Disconnect the electric socket from pressure sensor.
3. Unscrew pressure sensor from an inlet collector and remove a sealing ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.

VACUUM ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The vacuum electromagnetic valve is located in a back part of a motor compartment.
2. Disconnect the electric socket from the vacuum electromagnetic valve.
3. Disconnect vacuum hoses from the vacuum electromagnetic valve.
4. Unscrew the screw and remove the vacuum electromagnetic valve.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check correctness of installation of vacuum hoses.
