12.8. Fuel pump of high pressure

Removal


Prevention

Fixing of a shaft of the fuel pump in adjusting situation requires use of the special tool. Use of the tool manufactured independently can damage internal details of the fuel pump.

At installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation 15 ° after VMT combine the corresponding tag on a pulley with the index.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Remove clamps and the adjusting panel from the lower part of a motor compartment.
3. Remove the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
4. Remove the fan of a radiator and a casing.
5. Remove the vacuum pump from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. Remove laying from the vacuum pump.
6. Remove an inlet collector.
7. On models with 6-cylinder engines with a control system of the speed of the movement of the car unscrew the executive mechanism and move it aside.
8. Record a bent shaft of the engine from a provorachivaniye, then unscrew the central bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump (see rice. A bolt arrangement with the left carving of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump).
Prevention

The bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump has the left carving.


9. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft turn a bent shaft of the engine in the working direction until the piston of the first cylinder is installed in situation 15 ° after the top dead point. You make installation, combining the corresponding tag on a pulley of a bent shaft with the index (see rice. Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation 15 °).
10. Remove the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain (see rice. Arrangement of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
11. Using the corresponding wrench, unscrew the fuel-supply lines going to fuel nozzles from the fuel pump (see rice. Unscrewing of fuel-supply lines from the fuel pump).
12. Unscrew connecting bolts and disconnect the giving and returnable fuel hoses from the fuel pump.
13. Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from executive mechanisms from the top and back part of the fuel pump.
14. Mark and disconnect electric sockets from executive mechanisms and sensors on the top and back part of the fuel pump.
15. Disconnect draft of an accelerator from a control lever the fuel pump.
16. Using a chertilka, note position of the fuel pump of rather back surface of a fixing flange.
17. After removal of the fuel pump fix a chain on an asterisk of the fuel pump in a cover of a driving chain so that the mechanism of gas distribution could be turned. On later models for fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump the special casing is used.
18. On early models without special a casing prepare a metal tubular mandrel which diameter is equal to diameter of a head of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump.
19. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a forward part of the fuel pump of high pressure to a fixing flange (see rice. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of a forward part of the fuel pump to a fixing flange). Unscrew the bolt fixing a back part of the fuel pump of high pressure to an arm and remove the fuel pump. At the same time, using a tubular mandrel or a special casing, support an asterisk of the fuel pump on the place.
Prevention

At removal of the fuel pump of high pressure, perhaps, effluence of insignificant amount of engine oil.

Do not allow removal of a driving chain from an asterisk of the fuel pump.


20. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the fuel thermostat to the case of the fuel pump and, without disconnecting pipelines from the thermostat, move it aside (see rice. Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the fuel thermostat).
21. Close all disconnected fuel-supply lines traffic jams.
22. Sideways the fuel pump unscrew the stopper closing an adjusting opening (see rice. Arrangement of the stopper closing an adjusting opening of the fuel pump of high pressure).
23. Using special captures, turn a shaft of the fuel pump in the direction of labor movement until through an adjusting opening you see the regulator case. Tighten a shaft of the fuel pump before combination of a ledge on the regulator case with the center of an adjusting opening. Using the special tool, through an adjusting opening fix the regulator case from a provorachivaniye (see rice. Use of the special tool for fixing of the case of the regulator from a provorachivaniye).
Prevention

At a provorachivaniye of a shaft of the fuel pump of high pressure be careful not to damage a surface of a shaft of the fuel pump.


24. In a forward part of the fuel pump remove a sealing ring.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments.
2. On a forward part of the fuel pump of high pressure establish a new sealing ring and grease it with a thin layer of engine oil.
3. Before installation of the fuel pump of high pressure check that the piston of the first cylinder is installed in situation 15 ° after the top dead point.
4. Record a bent shaft of the engine from a provorachivaniye and after that tighten a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump the required moment.
Prevention

The bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the fuel pump has the left carving.


5. Take the special blocking tool from an opening in the fuel pump and close an opening a stopper.
6. Tighten bolts of fastening of the fuel pump of high pressure the required moment.
7. Connect pipelines of high pressure to the fuel pump and fix by connecting nuts, having tightened them the required moment.
8. When fastening of the giving and returnable fuel-supply lines connecting bolts it is necessary to use new sealing rings.
9. At installation of the vacuum pump it is necessary to use a new sealing ring. Check and, if necessary, adjust the moment of injection of the fuel pump.
