3.18. Replacement of the bearing in an end face of a bent shaft
On models with the mechanical transmission in an end face of a bent shaft from a flywheel the bearing on which the entrance shaft of the transmission leans is installed.

PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a flywheel and coupling. |
2. Remove a lock ring and, using the inertial hammer with special captures, take the bearing from an end face of a bent shaft. |
3. Clear a nest for the bearing in an end face of a bent shaft. |
4. Apply a thin film of special glue on an external ring of the bearing. |
5. Using the tubular mandrel leaning on an external ring of the bearing, install the bearing in a nest of a bent shaft against the stop and record a lock ring. |
6. Establish coupling and a flywheel. |
