Mechanism of a tension of a driving chain

Removal

 At installation of a new chain constantly support both branches of a chain in the tense situation.

Unscrewing of the cap-type nut from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Take off an auxiliary driving belt.
3. For improvement of access to the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain remove the generator.
4. From the right forward side of the engine unscrew the cap-type nut from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain and take a spring and a sealing ring (see rice. Unscrewing of the cap-type nut from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain, Extraction of a spring and sealing ring from the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
Prevention

When unscrewing the cap-type nut be careful as the nut is influenced by strongly compressed spring.
5. Unscrew the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain from the block of cylinders of the engine (see rice. Mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
6. Take a plunger with a bracket from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain (see rice. The direction of extraction of a plunger with a bracket from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear details of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain and check lack of wear on a plunger and the case.
2. Check a condition of a bracket and a spring of the mechanism of a tension and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

 1 – the provision of a plunger at installation;
2 – the direction of extraction of a plunger from the case

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Screw in the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain in the block of cylinders and tighten it the required moment.
2. Insert a plunger with a bracket into the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving belt against the stop of a bracket in a fillet of an internal cavity of the case (see rice. A plunger arrangement in the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
3. Insert a spring into the case, establish a new sealing ring on the cap-type nut and, overcoming spring resistance, screw the cap-type nut and tighten it the required moment.
4. Install the generator.
5. Establish an auxiliary driving belt.
6. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
