3.12. Drive of valves, pushers and camshaft

Details of the drive of valves and spray of oil have many modifications therefore at their replacement it is necessary to get advice at the representative of Mercedes-Benz.

The drive of valves is combined with covers of bearings of the camshaft. Yokes are established on separate short axes which are also fixed on covers of bearings of the camshaft. On each cover of the bearing of the camshaft about one yoke operating the inlet and final valve is established.

Hydraulic pushers, supply of oil to which is carried out through openings in yokes, are fixed in yokes.
