5.8.2. The top cover of a driving chain (model with system of injection of HFM fuel)
Prevention
For extraction of an adjusting pin of an uspokoitel of a chain it is necessary to use the inertial hammer. At installation of the top cover of a driving chain it is necessary to use sealant and new laying.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator. |
| 2. Merge cooling liquid from the cooling system. |
| 3. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 4. Disconnect the central high-voltage wire from an ignition distributor cover. |
| 5. Unscrew the grounding tire from the top cover of a driving chain and exempt electric wires from brackets on a cover. Unscrew two bolts fixing an arm and a cranked branch pipe of cooling liquid to the top cover of a driving chain and remove a cranked branch pipe. |
| 6. Remove the top uspokoitel of a chain. |
| 7. Remove a high-voltage wire and unscrew a plastic board from the basis of the top cover of a driving chain. |
| 8. Unscrew the bolts fixing a pipe of supply of cooling liquid to the fan of a radiator and the water pump. Disconnect a pipe from the water pump and move it aside. |
| 9. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of position of the camshaft and the relay of the mechanism of adjustment of the camshaft operating inlet valves. |
| 10. Disconnect vacuum tubes from the valve installed on a forward part of a cover of a driving chain. |
| 11. Unscrew the bolt fixing a rack of the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt to a cover of a driving chain. Note an arrangement of washers and laying for their correct repeated installation. |
| 12. Unscrew the stopper from the top cover of a driving chain located under the camshaft operating inlet valves. |
| 13. Screw in an additional bolt in an adjusting pin of an uspokoitel of a driving chain. |
| 14. Using the inertial hammer and an adapter, for a head of an additional bolt take a pin of an uspokoitel of a chain. |
| 15. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the top cover of a driving chain. At the same time the right bolt remains in a cover. |
| 16. Remove the top cover of a driving chain. |
| 17. Remove laying from a groove in the top part of the lower cover of a driving chain. |

Installation
Prevention
At installation of a new top cover of a driving chain it is necessary to check and, if necessary, to adjust position of the sensor of position of the camshaft.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of the top cover of a driving chain and a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Put a sealant layer in a junction of the top part of the lower cover of a driving chain with a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 3. Establish new laying in a groove in the top part of the lower cover of a driving chain and grease the top surface of laying. |
| 4. Apply a thin film of sealant on the interfaced surfaces of the top cover of a driving chain and a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 5. Establish new consolidation on a back part of a cover of a driving chain. |
| 6. Establish the lower right bolt in a cover, then establish a cover on a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 7. Establish the remained bolts of fastening of a cover and gradually and evenly tighten bolts of fastening of a cover the required moment, since the lower bolts. |
| 8. Establish an adjusting pin of an uspokoitel of a chain. |
| 9. Further installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Fill in cooling liquid in the cooling system. |
