6.5. Top Dead Point (TDP) of the piston of the first cylinder
Top is dead a piston point - it is a point through which there passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a bent shaft. Each piston reaches the provision of VMT at the end of a compression step, and then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of gas distribution of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder is used.

| 1. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders. |
| 2. Turn a bent shaft of the engine a wrench for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft before combination of adjusting tags with indexes. |
| 3. The adjusting tag of a pulley of a bent shaft has to be combined with the index on a cover of a driving chain. |
| 4. The groove on a forward flange of the camshaft has to be combined with a ledge on a forward cover of the bearing of the camshaft. |
| 5. After combination of adjusting tags with indexes the piston of the first cylinder is in the top dead point. |
