6.8. Cover of a driving chain

Prevention

At removal of a cover of a driving chain it is necessary to use the load-lifting mechanism. At installation of a cover use of sealant is necessary.

Removal

Arrangement of two bolts in a forward part of the fuel filter and thermostat

Arrangement of the lower bolt of fastening of a support of the power unit

Arrangement of bolts of fastening of the fuel pump of high pressure to a cover of a driving chain

Arrangement of bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain to a head of the block of cylinders

Arrangement of bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain to the block of cylinders of the engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Open a cowl and establish it in vertical position.
3. Remove the lower mudguard of the engine.
4. Remove a radiator and the fan of a radiator assembled.
5. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations and a nave.

6. Remove the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt for what perform the following operations:

a – remove a plastic cap, unscrew a bolt and remove an intermediate pulley of an auxiliary driving belt;
b – unscrew bolts and remove a radiator fan pulley;
c – unscrew bolts and remove a tension mechanism shock-absorber rack;
d – remove a tension mechanism spring;
e – remove the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.

7. Remove the vacuum pump for the brake system.
8. Remove the pump of the amplifier of steering.
9. Remove the pump of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket from a head of the block of cylinders.
10. Remove the generator.
11. Merge engine oil from the engine.
12. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders.
13. On models with system кондициониро a vaniye of air close a thick cardboard the condenser in order to avoid its further damage.
14. Unscrew two bolts in a forward part of knot of the fuel filter and thermostat (see rice. An arrangement of two bolts in a forward part of the fuel filter and thermostat).
15. Unscrew a pipe for the probe of measurement of level of oil from a head of the block of cylinders.
16. Unscrew bolts and remove an arm of fastening of the generator.
17. Note an arrangement and unscrew an arm of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and move the sensor aside.
18. Hook on the load-lifting mechanism for a forward eye for raising of the engine.
19. Working under the car from two parties of the engine, unscrew the lower bolts of fastening of support of the power unit (see rice. Arrangement of the lower bolt of fastening of a support of the power unit).
20. Raise the engine and unscrew bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to a cover of a driving chain and weaken the remained bolts of fastening of the oil pallet.
21. Lower the engine.
22. Unscrew three bolts of fastening of the fuel pump of high pressure to a cover of a driving chain (see rice. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of the fuel pump of high pressure to a cover of a driving chain).
23. Through an opening in the top part of a head of the block of cylinders unscrew two bolts fixing a head of the block of cylinders to a cover of a driving chain (see rice. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain to a head of the block of cylinders).
24. Unscrew the remained bolts of fastening of a driving chain and uncover (see rice. An arrangement of bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain to the block of cylinders of the engine).
Prevention

At removal of a cover of a driving chain it is necessary to use the load-lifting mechanism. At installation of a cover use of sealant is necessary.
25. At removal of a cover of a driving chain do not damage laying of a head of the block of cylinders and the oil pallet.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the interfaced surfaces of a cover of a driving chain, a head of the block of cylinders and the block of cylinders.
2. Check a condition of laying of a head of the block of cylinders. In case of damage of laying it is necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders and to replace laying.
3. Check a condition of laying of the oil pallet. If laying is damaged, it is necessary to remove the oil pallet and to replace laying. If necessary, replace a forward sealing ring of a bent shaft.
4. For an exception of damage of working edges of a sealing ring of a bent shaft wrap up a forward end face of a bent shaft an adhesive tape.
5. Apply a thin film of sealant on the surface of the block of cylinders interfaced to a cover of a driving chain.
6. Grease working edges of a forward sealing ring of a bent shaft with pure engine oil and, being careful, install a cover of a driving chain on the engine.
7. Screw in bolts of fastening of a cover of a driving chain and tighten them the required moment.
8. Through openings in the top part of a head of the block of cylinders establish bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders to a cover of a driving chain and tighten them the required moment.
9. Remove an adhesive tape from a forward end face of a bent shaft.
10. Screw in and tighten the required moment bolts and nuts of fastening of the fuel pump of high pressure.
11. Raise the engine, screw in bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to a cover of a driving chain and tighten them the required moment.
12. Lower the engine and screw in the lower bolts of fastening of support of the power unit.
13. According to earlier made tags, establish an arm of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.
14. Establish an arm of fastening of the generator.
15. Fix a pipe for the probe of measurement of level of oil to a head of the block of cylinders.
16. Install the fuel filter.
17. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
18. Install the generator.
19. Install the pump of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket on a head of the block of cylinders.
20. Install the pump of the amplifier of steering.
21. Install the vacuum pump of the brake system.
22. In the sequence, to the return to removal, install the mechanism of a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
23. Establish a nave and a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations.
24. Establish knot of the fan of a radiator and a radiator.
25. Establish the lower mudguard of the engine.
26. Fill in engine oil in the engine.
27. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
