10.3.3. Adjustment

Prevention

On cars with a control system of the speed of the movement ASP adjustment of draft of a butterfly valve very difficult operation, and it needs to be made at service station.

 Install the directing lever in such situation that the roller was combined with edge of the limiter of turns of idling.

The end face of a cover of a cable of an accelerator has to adjoin to a spring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the cable and draft of an accelerator move smoothly and without jammings. If necessary grease draft of an accelerator.
2. On the case of a throttle remove an accelerator cable from the directing lever, previously having removed the square fastener. Take an accelerator cable through a groove on an arm of the directing lever.
3. Take the connecting lever from a spherical nest on the directing lever. The connecting lever has the flat form, and the adjusting lever connects the directing lever to the lever of a butterfly valve.
Prevention

On DOHC engines with a working volume of 2962 cm3 adjustment of length of the connecting lever can be made without removal from the directing lever.
4. Install the directing lever in such situation that the roller was combined with edge of the limiter of turns of idling (see rice. Installation of the directing lever). In this situation record draft, weaken a bolt of fastening and adjust length of the connecting lever so that it was combined with a spherical nest of the directing lever.
5. Install an accelerator cable on the directing lever. On models with the automatic transmission disconnect a cable of management of pressure from the directing lever.
6. On cars with the mechanical transmission the assistant has to press an accelerator pedal against the stop, and on cars with the automatic transmission to press a pedal to situation at which there is a compulsory inclusion of a low gear.
7. In this situation the lever of a butterfly valve has to be combined with the limiter of opening of a butterfly valve. Otherwise for achievement of this situation rotate an adjusting nut in an arm (see rice. Arrangement of a nut of adjustment of open provision of a butterfly valve).
8. Release an accelerator pedal in a starting position. At the same time the roller of draft has to be combined with the limiter of turns of idling on the directing lever. In this situation the end face of a cover of a cable of an accelerator has to adjoin to a spring, and the directing lever has to turn on the switch (see rice. Accelerator cable cover end face, Arrangement of the directing lever which turns on the microswitch). For adjustment of this situation turn a nut on the end of a cable from an accelerator pedal (see rice. Fastening of a cable of an accelerator to an accelerator pedal).
9. On cars with the automatic transmission connect a cable of management of pressure and adjust it.
