Cleaning
Removal of a spray from the block of cylinders
Use of a tap for cleaning of a carving opening in the block of cylinders
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove all details and electric sensors from the block of cylinders. For full cleaning remove technological caps. For removal of caps drill in them small openings and in openings screw in the self-cutting screw. Having pulled for a screw head, remove a cap. |
2. Remove oil sprays on an internal part of the piston. For removal of a spray unscrew a bolt, remove a sealing ring and take a spray from the block of cylinders (see rice. Removal of a spray from the block of cylinders). |
3. Establish oil sprays. |
4. Remove all traces of laying from the interfaced surfaces of the block of cylinders of the engine. |
5. Remove all caps of the oil highway. At installation use new caps. |
6. The most polluted places clear the ferry. |
7. Clear all lubricant openings and the oil highway. Wash out all internal channels a stream of warm water until water does not come out pure. It is necessary to drain completely the block of cylinders and to grease with a thin butter layer all interfaced surfaces for prevention of emergence of corrosion. Also grease engine cylinders. If there is a compressed air, use it to accelerate process of drying and to blow all lubricant openings and highways. |
8. Carefully clear all carving openings, using a tap with the corresponding carving then blow openings compressed air. |
9. Install traffic jams to the oil highway in the block of cylinders of the engine and reliably fix them. |
10. If the engine is not subject to immediate assembly, close the block of cylinders a big plastic bag to protect it from pollution. |
11. Visually check the block of cylinders for corrosion existence. Check integrity of a carving in carving openings. |
12. Check diameter of cylinders of the engine for wear on existence of a step in the top part of the cylinder. |
13. In the presence of a measuring instrumen that measure diameter of a sleeve of each cylinder in the top part (under a wear step) in the center and at the basis parallel to an axis of a bent shaft. Then perform the same measurements perpendicular to an axis cranked a shaft and compare them to specifications. Repeat the procedure of measurement on other sleeves of cylinders. If wear exceeds admissible values, it is necessary to chisel cylinders and to install new pistons of the increased size. |

Check of a vystupaniye of the piston on diesel engines
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Check a vystupaniye of pistons from the block of cylinders of the engine at installation of the piston in the top dead point as it is especially important if the surface of a head of the block of cylinders механичес ки was processed. If the vystupaniye of pistons exceeds admissible limits, then pistons during the operation of the engine can strike in the vortex camera that will lead to serious damage of the engine. |
2. You perform measurement of a vystupaniye of pistons at the level of the top plane of laying of a head of the block of cylinders. If the vystupaniye of pistons exceeds admissible limits, it is necessary to rovatsya prokonsult with the dealer of Mercedes-Benz and it is quite probable that the block of cylinders of the engine should be replaced. |
