Removal

Weakening of the collar fixing an air supply pipe on the carburetor

Weakening of the collar fixing an air supply pipe on a casing of the air filter

Removal of a pipe of air supply from the air filter to the carburetor

Unscrewing of nuts of fastening of a cover of the air filter

Release of brackets of fastening of a cover of the air filter

Removal of the filtering element of the air filter

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an air inlet branch pipe from a casing of the air filter.
2. Remove a branch pipe of supply of warm air from the basis of the regulator of temperature of the air coming to the engine.
3. On models with the STROMBERG carburetor weaken collars and remove the pipe connecting the air filter and the carburetor (see rice. 4. On models with the PIERBURG carburetor unscrew a nut, the fixing air supply pipe to a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Remove a hose of ventilation of a case from a branch pipe in the lower part of a casing of the air filter.
6. Disconnect fastening brackets, unscrew nuts and uncover the air filter. Take the filtering element. Unscrew nuts and screws and remove a casing of the air filter (see rice. Unscrewing of nuts of fastening of a cover of the air filter, Removal of the filtering element of the air filter). On models with the PIERBURG carburetor remove rubber consolidation.
7. On later models with STROMBERG carburetors and the air filter with external brackets unscrew nuts and take the lower part of the air filter from brackets.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check that the filtering element is established according to the tags put on the filtering element.
