9.4. The block of adjustment of temperature of the air coming to the engine

| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove from a casing of the air filter of a pipe of air supply in the engine. |
| 2. Unscrew screws and take from a casing of the air filter the block of adjustment of air temperature coming to the engine. Disconnect a branch pipe of supply of the warmed-up air from the lower party of the block (see the drawing). |
| 3. Using the hair dryer, direct a stream of warm air to the thermostat in a back part of the block of adjustment of temperature and watch the gate through openings on the forward party of a casing. After warming up of the thermostat up to the temperature of 30 °C the thermostat through draft will move the gate and will close receipt in the engine of the warmed-up air. Otherwise replace the thermostat. |

Replacement of the thermostat
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove a casing from the block of temperature coming to the engine of air and, being careful, remove the thermostat and disconnect it from draft. At installation of the new thermostat move draft with a spring to a casing, then insert the thermostat then release draft and check that it was correctly combined with the working end of the thermostat. |
| 2. Establish a casing of adjustment of temperature of the air coming to the engine in the sequence, the return to removal then connect air supply pipes in the engine. |
