4.5. Top Dead Point (TDP) of the piston of the first cylinder

The top dead point of the piston is a point through which there passes each piston at a provorachivaniye of a bent shaft. Each piston reaches the provision of VMT at the end of a compression step, then again at the end of an exhaust step. For the purpose of installation of the mechanism of gas distribution of the engine VMT of the piston of the first cylinder is used.

Combination of a tag on a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations with edge of an arm of fastening of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft

Combination of a pin (1) on a camshaft flange with an edge (2) on a camshaft bearing cover

Arrangement of tags on distributive to a shaft for installation of the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point
And – the camshaft of later models with a tag in the form of an opening (1);

In – the camshaft of earlier models with a tag in the form of a pin (2)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Note position of the plug of a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder on a distributor cover.
2. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders.
3. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft turn a bent shaft of the engine clockwise, the following tags will not be combined with indexes yet (see rice. Combination of a tag on a pulley of a bent shaft / a quencher of tortional fluctuations with edge of an arm of fastening of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft, Combination of a pin on a camshaft flange with an edge on a camshaft bearing cover, the Arrangement of tags on distributive to a shaft for installation of the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point):
a - the tag on a pulley of a bent shaft / quencher of tortional fluctuations has to be combined with edge of an arm of fastening of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.
b – the pin on a flange of a forward part of the camshaft has to be combined with an edge on a camshaft bearing cover.
c – the rotor of the distributor of ignition has to be combined with contact of a high-voltage wire of the first cylinder.
