Mechanism of a tension of a driving chain

At installation of the cap-type nut of the mechanism of a tension it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Open a cowl and establish it in vertical position.
3. From the right forward side of the engine unscrew the cap-type nut and take a spring and a sealing ring (see rice. Mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).
4. Using a face key, unscrew a ring with a carving and take the tension mechanism case.
5. Take from the case a plunger with a bracket (see rice. The direction of extraction of a plunger with a bracket from the case of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear details of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain and check lack of wear on a plunger and the case.
2. Check a condition of a bracket and a spring of the mechanism of a tension and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the tension mechanism case in a cover of a driving chain and fix it by a ring with a carving, having tightened it the required moment.
2. Install a plunger with a bracket in the tension mechanism case against the stop of a bracket in a fillet in the tension mechanism case.
3. Establish a spring and screw the cap-type nut with a new sealing ring and tighten it the required moment.
4. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.
