Removal

1 – tension mechanism;

2 – tension mechanism boot;

3 – top uspokoitel of a driving chain

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On the right side of a head of the block of cylinders unscrew the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain (see the Arrangement of a driving chain on the diesel engine).
2. If the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain has defects, it needs to be replaced assembled.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of the mechanism of a tension in the engine fill it with oil. Arrange the tension mechanism in the container with engine oil a plunger down and press a plunger a little. The plunger of the mechanism of a tension of a chain filled with oil has to be pressed slowly and evenly with small effort.
2. Screw in the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain in heads of the block of cylinders and tighten it the required moment.
