CAMSHAFT ASTERISK

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off an auxiliary driving belt.
2. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders.
3. Unscrew the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
4. In the presence remove the pump of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket from a head of the block of cylinders. Remove a sealing ring, a pro-masonry plate, unscrew a bolt and remove the pump drive plug from the camshaft.
5. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point and check that adjusting tags of cranked and distributive shaft are combined with indexes. Using paint, apply combination tags on an asterisk of the camshaft and a link of a driving chain.
6. Unscrew a bolt and remove an asterisk from the camshaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of teeths on an asterisk. Teeths on an asterisk have the symmetric form and in case of development on the one hand of teeths the asterisk needs to be replaced.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that adjusting tags of distributive and cranked shaft are combined with the index. At installation of a new asterisk of the camshaft apply on it a combination tag, as on an old asterisk.
2. Combining tags, establish a chain on an asterisk.
3. Install an asterisk on the camshaft. At the same time the adjusting pin on a flange of the camshaft has to enter an opening in an asterisk. Screw in a bolt and tighten it the required moment.
4. In the presence install the plug of the drive of the hydraulic pump of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket on the camshaft and fix by a bolt, having tightened it the required moment. Establish a pro-masonry plate, a sealing ring and the hydraulic pump of system of the self-leveled back suspension bracket.
5. Screw in the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain.
6. For a bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft turn a bent shaft on one turn and check that tags of cranked and distributive shaft are combined with indexes.
7. Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
8. Establish an auxiliary driving belt.

ASTERISK OF THE BENT SHAFT

Prevention

Removal of an asterisk from a bent shaft requires use of a stripper.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover a driving chain.
2. Remove the oil pallet.
3. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
4. Take off a boot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain, the oil pump and a spring from a hinged finger.
5. Unscrew a bolt and remove an asterisk together with a chain from a shaft of the oil pump.
6. Using paint, apply combination tags on an asterisk of a bent shaft and a link of a driving chain.
7. Using a stripper, remove an asterisk and a segment spline from a bent shaft.
8. Remove a segment spline from a groove of a bent shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of teeths on an asterisk. Teeths on an asterisk have the symmetric form and in case of development on the one hand of teeths the asterisk needs to be replaced.

1. Establish a segment spline in a groove of a bent shaft.
2. At installation of a new asterisk of a bent shaft apply on it a combination tag on the same place, as on an old asterisk.
3. Combining adjusting tags, establish a driving chain at first on an asterisk of a bent shaft, and then on a camshaft asterisk.
4. Establish an asterisk of the oil pump together with a chain and fix by a bolt, having tightened it the required moment.
5. Install the plug, a spring and a boot of the mechanism of a tension of a driving chain of the oil pump on a hinged finger.
6. Install the oil pallet.
7. Establish a cover of a driving chain.
