6.11.2. Check
Hydraulic pusher
|
1 – oil chamber of low pressure;
2 – oil chamber of high pressure;
3 – pusher cylinder;
4 – valve core;
5 – camshaft cam
|
Camshaft
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Check the working surfaces of bearings and contours of cams of the camshaft for wear. With any wear replace the camshaft. |
|
Hydraulic pushers
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Check a condition of hydraulic pushers and nests for pushers in a head of the block of cylinders. With wear on nests for pushers the head of the block of cylinders is subject to replacement. |
|
Check of the hydraulic pushers installed in the engine
Check of a gap between a pusher and a contour of a cam
|
For check of a gap between a pusher and a contour of a cam of the camshaft press a pusher a wooden or plastic core.
|
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature. |
2. Check the level of engine oil. |
3. Being careful not to burn, uncover a head of the block of cylinders. |
4. Install the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead point and check that all adjusting tags were combined with indexes. |
5. Check that valves of the first cylinder are closed, that is cams of the camshaft are directed up. Using a plastic or wooden core, press the top part of a hydraulic pusher (see rice. Check of a gap between a pusher and a contour of a cam). |
6. Continuing to press a hydraulic pusher, measure by the probe a gap between a contour of a cam and a hydraulic pusher. |
7. If the measured gap exceeds admissible value, replace a hydraulic pusher. |
8. For a bolt of fastening of a pulley turn a bent shaft of the engine and similarly check other hydraulic pushers. The gap is checked only on completely closed valves that is where the cam of the camshaft is directed up. |
9. After check of hydraulic pushers establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders. |
