3.10.3.5. A boot of the mechanism of a tension of models with a two-row driving chain

Removal

Extraction of a hinged finger of a boot of the mechanism of a tension of a two-row chain with use of the inertial hammer

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover a driving chain.
2. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
3. On an axis of a hinged finger drill an opening with a diameter of 5,5 mm, then in an opening cut M6 carving on depth of 10 mm.
4. Screw in a bolt of M6 in a hinged finger and, using the inertial hammer with an adapter, take for a bolt head a hinged finger (see the drawing).
5. Take off a tension mechanism boot.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a condition of a boot for existence of excessive wear, damages or cracks and, if necessary, replace it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a tension mechanism boot into place and fix it by a new hinged finger.
2. Establish a camshaft asterisk.
3. Establish a cover of a driving chain.
