27.8. Independent system of heating
The independent system of heating can work together with system of heating of the car irrespective of operation of the engine.
The independent system of heating is used for heating of interior of the car before or during the movement and also in case the main system of heating of the car works insufficiently effectively, and also for defrosting of glasses and heating of cooling liquid of the engine.
At start of the engine at very low temperatures of external air the independent system of heating can immediately join or in in advance set time.
1 – The control light-emitting diode of yellow color lights up at inclusion of the mode of the preliminary choice.
2 – The control light-emitting diode of green color joins during the work of system of heating of independent action.
3 – The display for display of the current time, and also for display of week and time of inclusion of system of heating of independent action.

Actions before inclusion of system of heating
Do not install the distributor of a stream of air in situation

Installation of time and day of inclusion of system of heating
It is possible to program one or two inclusions of system of heating in the required time.
Press the button 1 or 2, at the same time the yellow control light-emitting diode will light up. On the display the turn of the programme will be highlighted and within 20 seconds time to which inclusion of system of heating is appointed will be highlighted. When highlighting on the display of time of inclusion it can be modified, pressing the button
Programming of system of heating
Press the button 1 or 2, at the same time the yellow control light-emitting diode 1 will light up. On the display time at which approach the independent system of heating will join will be highlighted. After programming of system of heating two control light-emitting diodes, 1 yellow and 2 green will light up.
The interval of time before programmable inclusion of independent system of heating makes no more than 60 minutes.

At the same time the yellow light-emitting diode will go out. In 60 minutes the independent system of heating will automatically be switched off.

At the switched-off engine for reduction of use of energy of the accumulator it is recommended to include independent system of heating the minimum required time and it is not recommended to include system several times in a row.
During the work of independent system of heating and a key in the ignition lock in the situation 0 or 1 or in general taken from the ignition lock, the fan turns on only on reaching a certain temperature of cooling liquid.
After a detachment of plugs of the accumulator on the display the current time begins to blink. In this case it is necessary to determine the current time and to program independent system of heating.
If at inclusion of independent system of heating the green control light-emitting diode is switched off, and on the display the symbol P appears, so in system of heating there is a malfunction. In this case include independent system of heating once again. At repeated switching off of a green control light-emitting diode it is necessary to address on Mercedes-Benz service station for diagnostics and repair of system of heating.
