27.45.6. Towage

The forward towing eye is located under a decorative slip in the lower part of a front bumper.

Towage should be made, meeting the following conditions.

Use an appropriate towing cable.

Turn the ignition key "is included" in situation in order that the lock the helmsman of a column was released and that indexes of turns and stoplights worked.

Before to tow, release the emergency brake, and install the lever of gear shifting in neutral situation.

Pay attention that the bigger effort for pressing a brake pedal as the vacuum amplifier of brakes works only at the working engine is required.

On models with the amplifier of steering the bigger effort for turn of a steering wheel will also be required.

On models with the automatic transmission observe special precautions, otherwise it is easy to damage the transmission.
