10.13.2. Air stream sensor

Removal

Elements of the sensor of measurement of a stream of air and the case of a throttle of the 4-cylinder engine (six-cylinder is similar)
A – fuel distributor;

B – case of the sensor of measurement of a stream of air;

C – collar of fastening of a rubber pipe;

D – throttle case


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the distributor of fuel and the regulator of pressure of fuel.
2. Unscrew bolts and move an arm of draft of a throttle aside.
3. Disconnect the electric socket from the air stream sensor.
4. Weaken a big collar of fastening of a rubber pipe and separate the throttle case from the lower part of the sensor of a stream of air.
5. Unscrew the nuts fixing the air stream sensor to rubber elements of fastening and arms (see the drawing).
6. Remove the sensor of measurement of a stream of air from the case of a throttle and disconnect from it an air hose of turns of idling.
7. Unscrew screws and remove rubber laying from the case of the sensor of measurement of a stream of air. Note an arrangement of screws as they have various length.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal.
2. Start the engine and check that there are no leaks from earlier being removed elements. Check and, if necessary, adjust turns of idling and maintenance WITH in exhaust gases.
