23:13. Spring of a back suspension bracket

Prevention

At removal of a spring of a back suspension bracket it is necessary to use the special tool for compression of a spring and its deduction in this state at removal of a spring.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
2. Using special adaptation, squeeze a spring so that it departed from the top part. When using special device for compression of springs you watch that rounds of a spring were reliably taken, and you make compression of a spring from the opposite sides. The spring has very big effort of compression therefore use only very reliable tool. Do not connect a spring by a wire at all.
3. Unscrew screws and remove the protection cover from the basis of the lower lever of a back suspension bracket. Support by a jack through wooden whetstone the lower lever of a back suspension bracket.
4. Unscrew a nut and take a hinged bolt, the fixing lower lever of a back suspension bracket to a back lower frame. Also unscrew a nut and take the bolt fixing an earring of the stabilizer of cross resistance to the lower lever.
5. Being careful, lower the lower lever of a back suspension bracket so that it was possible to take a spring with the top plate.
6. Check a condition of a cylindrical spring and the top basic cup for signs of wear, damages or corrosion and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check and, if necessary, clear the lower basic cup of a spring, then establish a spring with the top cup into place.
2. Turn a cylindrical spring so that its lower end correctly settled down in the lower nest of a spring. Install the top basic cup of a spring under fastening and, being careful, lift the lower lever of a back suspension bracket.
3. Check correctness of an arrangement of a spring, then insert a hinged bolt of fastening of the lower lever. Screw a new nut on a hinged bolt, but do not tighten it finally. Establish a bolt of fastening of an earring of the stabilizer, screw on it a new nut and tighten it the required moment.
4. Take a jack from under the lower lever of a back suspension bracket, then remove the device for compression of a spring.
5. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the required moment.
6. Shake the car in order that the spring and the lower lever rose on the places, then tighten a nut of a hinged bolt the required moment. Install the protection cover on the basis of the lower lever and fix by screws.
