Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tighten the parking brake, then lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.

2. Unscrew a nut, take a bolt and separate the steering shock-absorber from the central steering draft.

3. Unscrew nuts, the fixing pins of spherical hinges of the central steering thirst for steering transfer and the intermediate lever. Using a stripper, remove spherical hinges of the central steering draft and take draft from under the car.

4. Check smoothness of movement of spherical hinges of steering draft, and also a condition of protective covers of spherical hinges. With any defects the central steering draft needs to be replaced assembled. If protective covers of spherical hinges are damaged, replace them and fill spherical hinges with fresh lubricant.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear pins of spherical hinges and establish steering draft into place. Screw new nuts on pins of spherical hinges and tighten them the required moment.

2. Connect the shock-absorber of steering to the central steering draft and insert a fastening bolt. Screw a new nut on a bolt and tighten it the required moment.
