Removal

Unscrewing of the left fastening of the shock-absorber of steering

Unscrewing of the right fastening of the shock-absorber of steering

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tighten the parking brake, then lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.

2. Unscrew nuts and take the bolts fixing the shock-absorber then remove the shock-absorber, noting its arrangement (see rice. Unscrewing of the left fastening of the shock-absorber of steering, Unscrewing of the right fastening of the shock-absorber of steering).

3. Check a condition of the shock-absorber for existence of wear and damages and, if necessary, replace. Also check a condition of rubber pillows and, if necessary, replace them.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal. Check correctness of an arrangement of the shock-absorber. Screw new nuts on bolts of fastening of the shock-absorber and tighten them the required moment.
