PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. Remove the corresponding back wheel.
2. Unscrew screws and remove a casing from the basis of the lower lever of a back suspension bracket (see rice. Arrangement of screws of fastening of the protection cover of the lower lever of a back suspension bracket, Removal of the protection cover from the basis of the lower lever of a back suspension bracket).
3. Support by a jack through wooden whetstone the lower lever of a back suspension bracket.
4. For access to the top fastening of the back shock-absorber remove side finishing of the luggage compartment (see rice. Fastening of the back shock-absorber is more right).
5. Holding a wrench from a provorachivaniye a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber, the second wrench unscrew a lock-nut. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber, at the same time hold a rod from a provorachivaniye. Remove a washer and a rubber pillow.
6. Working under the car, unscrew a nut from the lower bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber and take a bolt and washers (see rice. Unscrewing of a nut from a bolt of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber).
7. Being careful, slightly release the lower lever of a back suspension bracket, then take the shock-absorber from under an arch of a back wheel. Remove a rubber pillow from the top part of the shock-absorber. On models since December, 1986 remove the laying established on the top rubber pillow then remove a dustproof cover and the rubber buffer from a shock-absorber rod (see rice. Elements of the top fastening of the back shock-absorber on early models, Elements of the top fastening of the back shock-absorber on later models).

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the shock-absorber for signs of leak of depreciation liquid. Check on all length a shock-absorber rod for lack of pointed corrosion. Check the shock-absorber case for lack of mechanical damages. Install the shock-absorber in vertical position and check its work, moving a shock-absorber rod at full capacity. Also check operation of the shock-absorber, moving a shock-absorber rod up and down on distance of 50 - 100 mm. In all cases the rod of the shock-absorber has to move smoothly with a notable resistance. If the rod of the shock-absorber moves with breakthroughs or there are mechanical damages, the shock-absorber is subject to replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On later models install the buffer, a dustproof cover and laying on a shock-absorber rod.
2. On all models establish the lower rubber pillow on a shock-absorber rod and install the shock-absorber in the car.
3. Combine fixing openings in the lower part of the shock-absorber and the lower lever of a back suspension bracket, insert a bolt into an opening and screw a new nut on a bolt, without tightening it it is final.
4. A jack lift the lower lever of a back suspension bracket, at the same time a rod the shock-absorber has to pass through an opening in a body.
5. In the luggage compartment establish a rubber pillow and a washer on a shock-absorber rod and screw a fixing nut on a shock-absorber rod. Check correctness of an arrangement of a rubber pillow, then tighten a fixing nut the required moment. At the same time hold a shock-absorber rod from a provorachivaniye. Holding a fixing nut a wrench, screw a lock-nut and tighten it the required moment.
6. Establish into place finishing of the luggage compartment.
7. Establish a wheel, then lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the required moment.
8. Shake the car in order that the shock-absorber correctly was installed on the place. Tighten a nut of the lower fastening of the shock-absorber the required moment. Install the protection cover on the basis of the lower lever of a back suspension bracket and screw screws.
